Community: Deer Run

From the host:

We are a friendly group of social poker players who like to enjoy the game we all love without the pressure of a casino.  Our buy ins range from $20 to the occasional game at $200, 100% of the buy ins goes back to the players in the form of prize money….. this means there is NO RAKE, yes that’s correct NO RAKE! The age range and gender of our players is very diverse along with the playing ability. We host out of my home and ask that all players remember exactly that and respect it. 99% of our games are No Limit Texas Hold’Em with the occasional Omaha and we even have some amazing team format events.

A friendly group now running for just over 3 years. Regular games on first and third Fridays, 7pm start time. Typically, first Friday will be low stakes $20 – $30 buy in NLH freezeout tournament. Third Friday games vary somewhat between Bounty; Progressive Bounty; Deepstack tournaments, with perhaps one or two rebuys and an add-on allowed, slightly higher stakes perhaps up to $60 buy in. If there are 5 Fridays in the month then on the 4th Friday we may schedule an extra tournament as well. Players of ALL skill levels are welcome.
